Presentation
Title:
“Nanocrystal stripes grown by 5 MeV electron beam on As-Se-S film”
Prof. Ibragimova is a materials scientist specializing in the effects of nuclear radiation on chemical composition and crystal structure transformations at macro-, micro-, and nano-scales. Her research also explores the functional response of dielectric, semiconductor, and superconducting materials under irradiation.
She has
published approximately 100 research articles in international journals and
currently serves as a Principal Researcher at the Institute of Nuclear Physics
and Chair of the Expert Council in Physics in Uzbekistan.
🔬 About the Presentation
Her
presentation explores the growth of nanocrystal arrays on As-Se-S films using a
scanning 5 MeV electron beam. The research examines irradiation-induced
structural changes, surface morphology, crystal phases, and optical properties
using techniques including SPM, SEM-EDS, XRD, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
The study
demonstrates how electron-beam irradiation can produce ordered nanocrystal
stripes and nanoscale structures, offering valuable insights into
radiation-induced nanomaterial formation and functional optical behavior.
