We are delighted to feature María José Lavorante from the National Defense University, Argentina, as a speaker at the 2nd Edition of the International Congress on Materials Science and Nanotechnology (M-Nano 2026).
🎤 Featured Presentation
María
José Lavorante's research focuses on renewable energy and electrochemical
technologies, including water electrolyzers, fuel cells, dark fermentation,
and conductometric titrations.
Her
presentation examines the performance of stainless-steel electrodes used in
alkaline water electrolysis, with particular attention to surface condition,
interelectrode distance, and agitation.
The study
demonstrates how agitation can significantly influence current density and
alter the performance of different electrode surface configurations. These
findings highlight the importance of optimizing electrode conditions and
operating parameters for improved water electrolysis performance.
