We are pleased to introduce Dr. Xue Liu, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Tobacco Research, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China, as a featured speaker at the 2nd Edition of International Congress on Materials Science and Nanotechnology (M-Nano 2026).
Dr. Xue
Liu obtained her PhD from China Agricultural University in 2018 and has
dedicated her research to exploring feasible applications of nanomaterials in
environmental pollutant analysis and remediation.
Presentation Title
Her
presentation focuses on the growing environmental challenges associated with
emerging contaminants such as pesticides, antibiotics, and heavy metals.
The research explores functionalized nanomaterial systems designed for
catalytic degradation in aquatic environments, soil–water systems, and on
agricultural product surfaces.
The study
investigates advanced nanomaterial platforms including g-C3N4, Pt
single-atom modified carbon nitride, Ti3C2/In4SnS8, Ti3C2 MXene/WO3, Fe
SA/C3N4, S-CuMnO, and 3D MoS2 nanoflowers. These materials are explored
through photocatalysis and persulfate activation approaches to improve
contaminant degradation.
Her work
highlights the potential of nanotechnology to contribute to environmental
remediation, pollutant control, and sustainable agricultural practices.
