🔹 Abstract – Key Highlights

·         Nanotechnology drives super-efficient batteries, low-resistance transmission lines, and advanced solar cells.

·         Thin-film solar cells: lightweight, flexible, cost-effective, and adaptable to briefcases, fabrics, and windows.

·         Nanofiber water filters: inexpensive solutions removing bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and pollutants.

·         Quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, nanostructured catalysts: enhance solar energy absorption, hydrogen storage, and fuel cell performance.

·         Supports renewable energy goals while reducing the environmental footprint of human activities.


🔹 Biography – Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri

·         Professor at University of Sharjah, Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences.

·         Initiated the Nanotechnology MSc Program and founded the Nano Computing Laboratory.

·         Holder of 72 international awards, including:

o    IAAM Scientist Award (Sweden, 2022)

o    Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientist (2020–2022)

o    Career-Long Citation Impact (Stanford University, 2020)

o    JSPS Award (Japan, 2019), OeAD Award (Austria, 2020)

o    TWAS-UNESCO Associateship (2012 & 2015)

·         Editorial Roles:

o    Associate Editor, Nano-Micro Letters (IF 26.6, Springer, Q1)

o    Editor-in-Chief, Experimental and Theoretical Nanotechnology
