polymer nanocomposites, corrosion coatings, and advanced 3D composites.
🔬 Key Research Highlights
◆ Development of graphene/TiO₂ nanocomposite coating systems
◆ Investigation of TiO₂ nanoparticle concentration and dispersion
◆ Improved adhesion and anticorrosion performance
◆ Water contact angle and surface hydrophobicity analysis
◆ FESEM characterization of nanocomposite coatings
◆ Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) for corrosion evaluation
◆ Enhanced coating stability and protective performance on mild steel
The study
examines the incorporation of different concentrations of TiO₂ nanoparticles
into a graphene-based acrylic-epoxy coating system. The research
demonstrates how TiO₂ decoration can improve graphene dispersion within the
polymer matrix and enhance the protective properties of the coating.
The
graphene/TiO₂ coating system demonstrated promising impedance characteristics,
highlighting its potential for advanced corrosion-resistant applications.
