This research explores graphene/TiO₂ nanocomposite coatings designed to improve adhesion and corrosion resistance on mild steel surfaces. By integrating TiO₂ nanoparticles into graphene-based polymer coatings, the study demonstrates enhanced protection and durability for engineering applications.

⚙️ Nanocomposite Coating Strategy

Different TiO₂ concentrations were incorporated into acrylic-epoxy matrices reinforced with graphene. Advanced characterization techniques including FESEM, water contact angle analysis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed improved nanoparticle dispersion and coating stability.

๐Ÿงช Corrosion Resistance & Surface Performance

The graphene/TiO₂ coatings exhibited remarkable hydrophobicity and anticorrosion properties. The optimized 1:1 graphene/TiO₂ coating achieved superior impedance modulus values exceeding 10¹⁰ ฮฉ cm², indicating excellent corrosion resistance and coating integrity.
